The day after the election in 2016, when I learned the Electoral College made deplorable and despicable Trump President, I emailed a friend and client and stated that for the first time in my life I was ashamed to be an American.
Today, regardless of the eventual final outcome of the election, which I hope will be positive and put Biden in the White House, I am again ashamed to be an American – more so than in 2016
The fact that
after 4 years of the disaster that is Trump the election is so close is a truly
sad commentary on the state of America.
